On November 8 the Museu do Fado opens to the public the temporary exhibition “À Noite”, built around the latest album by Carlos do Carmo.

On display, in addition to original paintings of Julio Pomar portraying Carlos do Carmo, one can see the unpublished poems by José Luís Tinoco (Insónia), Júlio Pomar (Fado do 112 and A Guitarra e o Clarim), Nuno Júdice (À Noite and Lisboa Oxalá), Maria do Rosário Pedreira (Pontas Soltas and Vem, Não Te Atrases), Fernando Pinto do Amaral (Madrugada and Vou Contigo Coração), José Manuel Mendes (Fado dos Meus Fados) and Luís Represas (Enredo).

Two projections about the life and work of Carlos do Carmo, from the new DVD "The Fado of a Life" by Rui Pinto de Almeida, complement this exhibition on the latest work of Carlos do Carmo, who is on the verge of fulfilling 45 career years.
