Sou do Fado | Lisboa na Rua

During the month of September, why not accept the invitation to see and hear Helder Moutinho, Cristina Branco, Cuca Roseta and Aldina Duarte in the open air, on four nights that promise to be unforgettable. The Largo de São Carlos once again has the privilege of hosting fado nights, in shows where stories are made music.

  7 september, 9.30pm - Helder Moutinho

“O Manual do Coração” is only Helder Moutinho’s fifth album. With a traditional band (a trio consisting of Ricardo Parreira on the Portuguese guitar, André Ramos on classical guitar and Ciro Bertini on acoustic bass), the voice of Helder Moutinho and the words of João Monge take us on a musical, and emotional, journey.

14 september, 9.30pm  - Cristina Branco

Within a music genre with such conservative and traditionalist roots as fado, Cristina Branco always offers us an alternative with an in-depth knowledge of the poets and poems that she interprets and performs. For this concert, she’s bringing her new work “Menina”.

21 september, 9.30pm  - Cuca Roseta

Cuca Roseta is one of the most renowned vocalists of the new generation of fadistas. For this concert, she will be joined by the Orquestra Ligeira do Exército which is this year celebrating its 40th anniversary. The fadista will unveil many of the songs from her new album, as well as performing a selection from her previous work.

28 september, 9.30pm  - Aldina Duarte

Aldina Duarte is considered one of the great personalities of contemporary fado. She’s had an intense career, with performances at Portugal’s main venues and important international festivals and shows.
