Lisboa na Rua

sou do Fado | Com’Out Lisbon’16

Sou do Fado celebrates the best voices of Fado, right in the heart of the muse city. Lisbon has been immortalised in such ballads as Alfama, Senhora do Tejo and Lisboa Menina e Moça and in hundreds of lyrics that all Lisboetas know by heart, whose melodies are hummed along the Tagus River and on Portugal’s black-and-white pavements. In front of the Teatro Nacional de São Carlos, the city will will once again be serenaded by the voices of Gisela João, Camané and Carlos do Carmo – three distinct generations, three singular styles.
