The Museu do Fado joins the celebration
of the International Museum Day and Long Night of Museums with a free entrance
program.
On the night of May 16 the
Museu do Fado will be open to the public
until 12:00 pm. Guitar students of the Museum School
star in short presentations along
the permanent exhibition circuit.
On May 18, the
International Museum Day, the Museu
do Fado will
extend its opening hours until 9.00 pm. Guitar students
of the Museum School perform short presentations
along the permanent exhibition circuit
and at 10.30 am and 4.30 pm take place a guided tour to the museum
with performances by a fado singer.
