Cuca Roseta
is one of the most widely acclaimed voices in the present-day world of Fado.
Her impressive career has further been marked by the fact that her works have
been performed by some of the greatest names in the history of music, such as
Gustavo Santaolalla (the winner of several Grammys and Oscars) and Nelson
Motta. Her last album “Riû” brought her the greatest praise yet from Portuguese
and international critics and she has performed more than two hundred concerts
in all four corners of the world, always playing to capacity audiences.
Cuca Roseta
will be returning to the Lisbon stages with her new album, which offers her fans
a whole host of novelties. On this occasion, she will be presenting the album
at the CCB, once again proving why she is considered one of the major
references in Portuguese music. Cuca Roseta is synonymous with modernity,
although she never forgets her deep roots in the Fado tradition, and her music
is truly universal.
