Cristina Clara was born in Vila Nova de Famalicão and for several years was divided between music and nursing. She grew up among the traditional songs her mother sang to her and soon became a lover of poetry and the performing arts. In 2021, her first studio album was released, Lua Adversa, an album made of stories turned fados and chorinhos and which is now presented at the CCB.
